Active in Maryland

By Dee | In News | on March 5, 2018

There are numerous outdoor hiking, biking or walking adventures in Maryland. With much milder weather on its way (hopefully), it’s time to get out there! Here are some places to go sponsored by the Visit Maryland site:

  • Oregon Ridge Nature Center
  • Gunpowder Falls State Park
  • Gwynns Falls Trail
  • Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area
  • Seneca Creek State Park

See the whole list at http://www.visitmaryland.org/scenic-byways

And don’t forget, March is Maryland Wine Month! There are more than 80 wineries spread across Maryland, offering a wine for every palate. A vibrant and important industry dating back to 1648. Many of these wineries are near local scenic bike roads and trails!
